Why buy a vintage watch?
A vintage watch marks more than just the passing of time. They are pieces of history. They reflect changes in technology, design, industry and behavior.

Some of these watches were taken into war. Some were inspired by it. Some boast of the opulence of a gilded age. Some were born of the simplicity of a struggling economy. Some are ornately beautiful in unimaginable ways. And some keep deep and marvelous secrets.

Each one represents some part of our past and accompanied the struggles, joys, triumphs or losses of the individuals who wore them.
A vintage watch is a connection to another person and another time.

A word about the collection
I describe the watches to the best of my ability. Many of these were part of my collection and have been serviced while others were brought in as working with no other immediate repairs needed. If there have been any repairs or service done while the watch was in my possession I will add that as part of the description. Otherwise they may (and should) be serviced to assure accurate timekeeping.
